Papers, papers everywhere and not a drop of ink

I have entered the paper writing zone. It is much like the Twilight Zone where you do not know if/when/how to leave. It's really up to your adviser and your committee. I submitted three papers last month and my adviser already has two more papers planned for my writing pleasure. At least they aren't due till next year. Yes, I do realize that the year has almost come to an end, but it is nice to pretend while I work on my dissertation proposal and the presentations for the papers that have been accepted. This paper schedule is a good thing as it does force me to continue making progress.
